Safe Ahmedabad: Constable killed in Crime Branch Office !!

Accused Manish Sharavan Ballai of killing of constable Chandrakant Makwana was arrested by Vadodara police from Bandra-Jaipur train. It was a joint operation by Ahmedabad Police, Vadodara Rural Police and Ahmedabad Crime Branch under guidance of Shri JK Bhatt, JCP. Based on a primary information, accused Manish was arrested from Karjan station. Accused is being brought to Ahmedabad. PRO Khumansingh has been suspended.

In a latest devlopment, Ahmedabad Crime Branch has released accused Manish Ballai’s photo who killed Crime Branch Constable Chandrakant Makwana yesterday. Crime Branch has requested people to contact them on phone numebrs 079-25398549, mobile numbers 9812577444 and 9924504409 on getting any information about accused Manish killer of constable.

In a very shocking incident of security hazard in Ahmedabad, one Crime branch Constable Chandrakant Makwana was killed by a culprit Manish for narcotics related crime. In the process Manish show how managed to get pipe and beat constable Makwana on his head. It is surprising to that CCTV cameras have been installed around PSO Office. Makwana was killed in the premise of Crime Branch. Culprit Manish was interrogated in connection with Rs 270 crore drug deal exposed by ATS and Crime Branch recently. Manish fled away the site after beating Makwana to death. Till now Culprit is out of reach of police.

Mourning Constable’s family has reached police station and they have been taken inside the police station and his deadbody is taken to his house. Family says Chandrakant was a very brave and physically very strong guy, who can singlehandedly tackle 4-5 culprits at a time.  Constable Mankwana was a boxer. They expression something fishy in the case and wanted enquiry in the matter. This type of security blunder of police constable killed in police station puts question mark on security of a common man in the city.
