Shankar Chaudhary unanimously elected as Speaker of Gujarat Legislative Assembly

Today on 20th December day long Assembly Session was called in Gujarat Assembly at Gandhinagar.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel congratulated Shankar Chaudhary who was unanimously elected as Speaker of 15th Gujarat Legislative Assembly.

Chief Minister proposed as Chaudhary as Speaker. Minister Rushikesh Patel supported the proposal Jayashree Ram slogans were heard in the House. Shankar Chaudhary was elected as a Speaker of Gujarat Legislative Assembly.

Newly appointed Speaker will continue to receive guidance in maintaining good traditions of temple of democracy said Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

All newly elected MLAs of BJP, Congress, AAP and others were in Assembly session along with media and a few visitors.

ISRO Successfully Launches navigation satellite NVS-01/ GSLV-F12

Indian space agency ISRO today successfully launched a navigation satellite, NVS-01, on board an expendable rocket, GSLV-F12, from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.
