Today in Surat city, a big farmers rally with participation of more than 10,000 farmers started. Farmers made strong protest with demand of aboliting of SUDA (Surat Urban Development Authority) development map 2035. SUDA authorities will be submitted with protest from 50,000 farmers on SUDA plan 2035. At Jahangirpura, farmers in 150 tractors, 200 car and more than 500 bikes took part in farmers rally.
Today morning at 11:00hrs rally started from Palankot, Jahagirpura. The rally will go from Rander, Palanpur Patia, navyug College to Chowk Bazar, Gandhi Statue and return to SUDA. 104 villages of Olpad, Choryaisi, Palsana and Mangrol talukas are part of SUDA plan 2035. As per Dec 9, 2015 memorandum they were included in SUDA plan.
