In Surat murder mystery of businessman Dishit Jariwala, owner of powerlooms and resident of Sarjan Society.
Surat Police had doubt on wife Velcy from begining due to her contradictory statements given to police about the incident. In the entire deadly murder mystery, Velcy was in love with her maternal cousin Suketu. Police had doubt on wife Velcy from day one and she was the only witness in the case. Velcy said to police that we had gone out from 9 to 11 pm and our house was locked, which made doubt on her involvement in the case. If the house was locked than thieves could easily looted the house in absence of owner and would have fled the site.
On the day of incident victim Dishit, his wife Velcy and daughter only were at home and his family had gone to Malaysia. Such a vital Information of Dishit being alone at home could be given by a close relative of him only which created doubt on wife.
As per wife Velcy, thieves had come for loot of jewellery, which was not substantiated with the golden ring left in Dishit’s hand at the time of murder, only Velcy’s jewellery was looted.
If intention of thieves was to loot the house, they could have tied the couple and perfomed loot, there was no need to kill Dishit.
Time of thieves fled the site mentioned by wife did not match with CCTV time of the incident which raised the doubt on her by police.
condition of house and bathroom discribed by wife did not match with police investigation. There was no evidence to police of locking Velcy forcefully in bathroom, as stated by her, which created doubt on her.
As per wife, Dishit went to turn on the light of Parking area, which could be turned on from inside the house. There was no reason to go for turning Parking Light on. Thieves entered at the time when Dishit went to turn on the light.
Suketu being maternal cousin, velcy was not permitted to marry him. Both Velcy and Suketu separately got married with their partners but were not happy with their life partners as felt bitterness in married life.
They came close again with the means of social media and started meeting again.
Where they used to meet will be revealed in further investigation and getting remand to Surat police.
