Gandhinagar, 29thJanuary, 2025: Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University on Tuesday hosted a special convocation ceremony exclusively for its Nigerian students on campus. This event served as a precursor to the main convocation ceremony for the remaining students, scheduled for a later date. A total of 23 Nigerian students from various institutes of the university were conferred with degrees during the ceremony. These graduates include postgraduate students specializing in disciplines such as Microbiology, Biotechnology, Quality Assurance, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Clinical Research, Pharmacognosy, and Nursing.
Students from Nigeria have limited visa validity and to ensure all students get to remain present in their convocation ceremony, Swarrnim University organized a special ceremony for these students.
The ceremony was presided over by Shri Adi Rishabh Jain, Vice President of Swarrnim University, alongside Provost Dr. Ragin Shah, Registrar Dr. Upendra Patel, Academic Directors, Principals, Heads of the Department. Addressing the gathering, the Vice President commended the students for their resilience, dedication, and hard work, highlighting their journey of growth and learning. He urged the graduates to embrace lifelong learning, emphasizing the importance of adaptability and curiosity in an ever-evolving world.
