Today in Vadodara, Dr Mansukh Shah owner of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth caught in Bribery Case of Rs 20 lakhs along with 2 others was produced before Vadodara Sessions Court. The Court granted 3 days remand to investigate Mansukh Shah by ACB Anti Corruption Bureau.
Defendants lawyer pleaded that investigation is done by police and not ACB. For investigating details on cheques found worth Rs 120 crores, all the relevant details could be sought from the bank by investigating agencies. Court was convinced of the arguments by lawyer and granted 3 days remand against demand of 14 days of remand made by ACB.
Wrath of people against accused Shah was seen in court premises.
Congress workers threw ink on Vasant Swant instead of accused Mansukh Shah, as they failed to identify Shah. 4 Congress workers were arrested by police.
