To commemorate on International Women’s Day on 8th March today and dedicate it to women of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, a special women’s safety related Training program was conducted in Ahmedabad city. Women’s Day is celebrated in different ways in India with increasing awareness and modernisation.
A demonstration on how to adopt safety in day-to-day life, especially for working women and other women in general was done. In modern world women have excelled in every sphere of life and have possibly met challenges everywhere, somehwhere they come across crime and criminal. Hope this training will become first-hand useful tool for self-defense of women.
The program was guided and conducted by Kanan Desai,Assitant Commisioner of Police, Women Cell, Gujarat Police at Ahmedabad.
