Bhupendra Patel Addresses Vikas Sankalp Sabhas in Vadodara District

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel addressed large gatherings at Vikas Sankalp Sabhas held in Koyli and Manjusar of Vadodara district, highlighting development achievements and expressing confidence in a strong electoral victory for the BJP under the leadership of Narendra Modi.

Speaking at the events, the Chief Minister said that a “lotus wave” is visible across the state, indicating overwhelming public support and a clear mandate in favor of the BJP. He emphasized that Gujarat’s elderly citizens, farmers, and millions of residents are witnesses to the transformation from previous Congress governance to the current model of development-driven administration.

Taking a dig at the opposition, Patel stated that the Congress had historically fostered divisions based on caste and religion, whereas the BJP has focused on politics centered around development and public welfare. He added that BJP workers remain actively engaged with people throughout the year, unlike opposition leaders who, according to him, disappear after elections.

Highlighting key development initiatives, Patel noted that 559 villages across 8 talukas of Vadodara district have been freed from fluoride-contaminated water issues. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, projects worth ₹847 crore have ensured the supply of clean drinking water directly to households through pipelines and water purification plants.

He further pointed out the state government’s push for water conservation through the “Catch the Rain” campaign, supported by special grants allocated to MLAs. In addition, infrastructure development has been accelerated with roads being upgraded to 4-lane and 6-lane highways, improving connectivity across the region.

The Chief Minister urged citizens to participate in large numbers in the upcoming elections on the 26th and support BJP candidates.

The event was attended by several party leaders, including District President Dr. Vijay Brahmbhatt, State Vice President Rasik Prajapati, District In-charge Dr. Ritvij Patel, MLA Dharmendrasinh Vaghela, along with party workers and a large number of citizens.
