Today Ahmedabad Crime Branch had a tip about MD drugs being sent from Mumbai to Ahmedabad by travels and two people will come to the Travels office located on PSG Highway to take it. The Crime Branch had set up a watch to arrested drug trafficers.
As the bus arrived from Mumbai, two persons came at the travels office to collect a packet of drugs. Where the crime branch team arrested two accused Mazhar Hussain Tejabwala and Imtiaz Hussain taking a packet of drugs from the conductor of travels. Drugs had a volume of 1.469 kilogram of drugs worth Rs 1.46 crores when the packet opened by Crime Branch.
Police started rigorous investigation and could trace that Sahzad son of Mazhar had ordered drugs from Goa and Mumbai.
