Ahmedabad, June 2026: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has announced the appointments of chairpersons, deputy chairpersons, and members for its various standing committees. The newly constituted committees will play a crucial role in overseeing civic administration, infrastructure development, public health, urban planning, and welfare initiatives across the city.
Parag Nayak has been appointed as the Chairman of the AMTS Committee. In the Water Committee, Dharamshibhai Desai has been named Chairman, while Vipul Sevak will serve as Deputy Chairman.
The Roads and Buildings Committee will be led by Jainik Vakil as Chairman, with Pravinbhai Patel taking charge as Deputy Chairman. Jitendra Khachariya has been appointed Chairman of the Recreation Committee, while Rekhaben Desai has been selected as Deputy Chairperson.
For the Women and Child Development Committee, Dimpalben Varindani has been entrusted with the role of Chairperson, and Ektaben Rawal will serve as Deputy Chairperson.
Bhagyeshbhai Patel has been appointed Chairman of the Town Planning (TP) Committee, with Divyaben Khakhi serving as Deputy Chairperson. The Revenue Committee will be headed by Mukesh Patel, while Virat Purohit has been appointed Deputy Chairman.
In the Housing Committee, Darshanben Shah has been named Chairperson and Mehul Shah Deputy Chairman. The Legal Committee will be chaired by Vipul Patel, with Ranjitsinh Vala serving as Deputy Chairman.
Hitendrabhai Parmar has been appointed Chairman of the Material Committee, while Sanjaybhai Sathwara will take charge as Deputy Chairman. Dr. Chandni Patel has been selected as Chairperson of the Hospital Committee, with Rajendra Jani appointed Deputy Chairman.
The Health Committee will be led by Dipak Panchal as Chairman, while Rakesh Patel has been appointed Deputy Chairman.
