Amit Chavda appointed as new Gujarat Congress President

Today Gujarat Congress MLA Amit Chavda appointed as new Gujarat Congress President.

Amit Chavda MLA hails from Anklav in Anand district. Amit is also a cousin brother of Bharatsinh.

Chavda replaces Bharatsinh Solanki former Gujarat Congress President. Bharatsinh submits his resignation from the post of GPCC President today.

The decision of replacing Bharatsinh Solanki with Amit Chavda was approved by Congress High Command Rahul Gandhi.

Recently there were rumors of Bharatsinh resigning from the post of Gujarat Congress President and went of long leave to abroad.

Health reasons of Bharatsinh Solanki and consolidation by party high command with induction of emerging youth in view of upcoming 2019 general elections are the reasons said to have affected the change at Gujarat presidentship.
