Gujarat ATS Anti Terror Squad has arrested two Most Wanted accused from Kashmir who have been absconding for last 15 years for jihadi conspiracy and indulged in the narcotics offenses.



Gujarat ATS and Gujarat Police conducted a major operation in Kashmir and got big success today in which one accused is involved in bomb blast at Ahmedabad while the other is accused of smuggling hashish in Gujarat. 108 kg hashish was seized sent to Gujarat by police from Kashmir. A team led by Gujarat police of Deepan Bhadran got success in the operation.

Two big criminals from Gujarat were caught from Kashmir. One accused Bilal Aslam Kasmiri was arrested from Balamulla and other one Bij Behra arrested from Anantnag with the help of Kashmir police. Bilal was wanted for 2006 bomb blast at Kalupur railway station in Ahmedabad in the incident one person was killed. In the bomb blast involvement of LeT had come to light. Earlier 9 persons were accused were arrested and 1 accused died. In 2006, Bilal was studying in Bharuch Madrasa and tempting other 4 students to join jihadi activities and disturbances. Earlier before bomb blast he had taken training in Kerala Madrasa.
Today, Gujarat director general of police DGP Ashish Bhatia addressed a press conference in which appreciated excellent job of police personnel involved in the operation.
