Meteorological Department has expressed possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in South Gujarat including Surat, Narmada, Navsari, Valsad and Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli. There are chances of heavy rains in Aravalli, Sabarkantha, Vadodara, Chhotaudepur, Dang, Tapi and Bharuch and Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath and Diu in Saurashtra.
Due to Forecast of heavy rain in Surat, district administration orders were given to the district officials not to leave headquarters during 28 June to 3 July for five days.
