Union Home Minister Amit Shah will begin a three-day visit to Gujarat from tomorrow, during which he is scheduled to participate in multiple official and administrative programmes across the state.
As part of the visit, Amit Shah is expected to hold a review meeting on May 28 regarding ongoing and upcoming development works in Ahmedabad city. Senior officials and civic authorities are likely to present updates on major infrastructure projects, urban development initiatives, public transport systems, and civic administration matters.
Sources indicate that the Union Home Minister may also meet the newly appointed office bearers of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, including the recently elected Mayor and other key civic functionaries, to discuss governance and future development planning for the city.
On May 29, Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Bhuj in Kutch district, where he will review the security situation along the international border. The visit is expected to include meetings with security agencies, border officials, and administrative authorities to assess border management, surveillance systems, and preparedness along the sensitive frontier region.
