India on high alert after Air Strike by IAF in Balakot

In a recent Shopian Encounter in South Kashmir, Commander among two Jaish militants killed. Army Operation was over.

On February 27  A top commander among two Jaish militants were killed after encounter broke between militants and government forces in Memander area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday. IGP Kashmir S P Pani confirmed to that two Jaish militants have been killed in Memander and said it was a clean operation without any collateral damage.

However the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained, the IGP said. one fighter jet crashed at Garend Kalan village, 7 Km from Budgam.

Two pilots dead as IAF Fighter Jet crashes in Central Kashmir’s Budgam.

Srinagar, Feb 27  Two pilots were killed after a Fighter Jet of Indian Air Force (IAF) has crashed in Garend Kalan area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday morning. A police officer told media that the IAF jet was crashed at Garend Kalan, some 7 kilometers away from Budgam town at around 10:40 am.In the incident, the pilot and co-pilot died on the spot, he said.  Police has rushed to the spot and are verifying the incident, he said. He said that the bodies of the two pilots were recovered from the site.

DC Rajouri Mr Aijaz just confirmed that the Pakistani jet fighters violated the Indian air space and dropped bombs at 4 deserted spots near LoC in Nadian, Laam Jhangar, Kerri in Rajouri district and Hamirpur area of Bhimber Galli in Poonch. A 9-year-old was injured.

Airports in Leh, Jammu, Srinagar and Pathankot in high alert. Airspace suspended due to security reason. Many commercial flights were put on hold.
