In Surat city in a Millennium Diamond Factory Water Poisoning incident was reported in which 118 artisans were Hospitalized. More than 118 diamond artisans at Millennium Diamonds in Surat’s Kapodara area were admitted to hospital after drinking contaminated water. Incident happened at the factory.
A major scare hit Surat’s Millennium Complex as 118 workers from Anabh Gems were rushed to hospitals after reportedly consuming water contaminated with insecticide. Officials say a torn pesticide packet was found near water cooler. Though no poisoning symptoms were found, all workers are under observation. FIR has been filed and investigation is going on.
