Today In a big change in the weather, parts of Gujarat state experienced dusty storms and unseasonal rain showers. In many parts of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar city, visibility plunged when the dust storms and dark clouds shadowed cities, in an unseasonal rain amid heat-wave. Apart from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, talukas in Bhavnagar had hailstorms, causing worry to farmers for crop damage due to change in weather. Botad had a rainfall, even roofs of the houses were blown away by the strorg winds. Amreli, Mehsana, and Surendranagar also received rainfall. Change in weather with strong winds and dust storms was felt in Morbi, Sabarkantha, Arvalli, and Mahisagar. Electricity services were disrupted in in Huda village of Valsad due to hailstorms in Valsad. Crop damage was also predicted on larger scales in Valsad and Dang districts.
