Today in Ahmedabad, Gujarat High Court asks Gujarat government to make a team of experts and specifically certify whether termination of pregnancy poses a threat to victim’s life.
A report by SSG Sir Sayajirao General Hospital of Vadodara mentioned that medical termination of pregnancy beyond 20 weeks is not allowed.
Justice A J Desai expressed unhappiness over medical report. The 19 year old rape victim is 27 weeks pregnant.
Matter scheduled for hearing on Tuesday.
