Ahmedabad, 9th May 2026: This year, on the occasion of the Purushottam maas, various Manoraths of Shri Rasaraj Prabhu have been organized in the main temple of Shri Kalpataru Prasad at Sola Bhagwat Vidyapith from 17-05-26 to 15-06-26.Besides it has been planned to undertake the construction of a grand new hostel building to provide beautiful accommodation for the Rishi Kumars studying in the institution at Bhagwat Vidyapith.
Managing Trustee of Sola Bhagwat Vidyapith, Hon. Shri Bhagwat Rishiji said that on the occasion of the 24th death anniversary of the world-renowned P.H. Shri Krishna Shankar Shastriji (P.Dadaji), founder of Shri Bhagwat Vidyapith, Shri Vallabhanidhi Trust, Shri Krishnanidhi Trust various worship-prayer program and a musical performance by the famous Vikram Labdiya Group have been organized by Rishi Kumarat Sola Bhagwat Vidyapith tomorrow on May 10, 2026 at 7.00 pm.
Pujya Shri Bhagwat Rishiji further said that Lord Krishna has said that I give my name to the extra month, so the extra month is also known as the Purushottam month. Therefore, various Manoraths have been organized from 17-05-26 to 15-06-26 from Adhik Jeth Sud-1 to Adhik Jeth Vad-30 Amasa. It includes Samvatsarov, Rath Yatra, Gocharan Leela, Vasant Panchami, Shrinathji’s appearance, Radha Ashtami-Gopashtami, Ram Navami, Naav Manorath, Dan Leela Manorath, Pavitra Ekadash. Vaman Jayanti, Morkuti Manorath, Narsingh Jayanti, Sharadotsav Raas, Chhak Manorath, Gokul-Mathura, Akash Jhula, Janmashtami Mahotsav-Nand Mahotsav, Gunsaiji’s festival, Sawan-Bhada, Mahaprabhuji’s festival, Sheesh Mahal, Govardhan Puja-Annakut Manorath have been organized.
Shri Anantkrishna Shastri said that till now more than five thousand Brahmin children (Rishi Kumaras) have studied Sanskrit as well as Vedas-Upanishads in Shri Bhagwat Vidyapeeth. As a result of which, the students here are serving as teachers in the convent-C.B.S.C. schools of the metropolis. Many Rishi Kumaras who have studied here are serving in the society as excellent storytellers, ritualists, astrologers. The Rishi Kumaras here hold high positions in various universities. More than fifty Rishi Kumaras abroad are serving as priests in Hindu temples. Apart from this, various types of classes are currently being run in the institution. In which yoga, karate, and every Sunday, Sangh classes are being run in the main ground. Bharatanatyam classes are also going to start in the coming time. Diploma classes at Shrivartantu Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, run by Shri Bhagwat Vidhapeeth, begin in August every year.
