Ahmedabad, May 31, 2026: To facilitate smooth transportation for cricket fans attending the TATA IPL 2026 Day-Night Final at Narendra Modi Stadium, the Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) has announced a special bus operation plan across the city.
According to an official AMTS press release, a total of 130 buses will be deployed on 21 routes to provide convenient travel to and from the stadium.
The arrangement includes:
- 80 buses operating on 15 existing routes before and during the match.
- 50 buses operating on 6 special night routes after the conclusion of the match.
Key Routes Serving Narendra Modi Stadium
Special and existing AMTS services will connect the stadium with major parts of Ahmedabad, including:
- Vasna via RTO, Gandhigram and Paldi.
- Maninagar via RTO, Subhash Bridge, Delhi Darwaja, Raipur and Geeta Mandir.
- Odhav via RTO, Income Tax, Delhi Darwaja, Kalupur and Rakhial.
- Narol via Motera, Bhat Gam, Indira Bridge, Galaxy, Naroda Patiya, Krishnanagar and CTM.
- Ujala Circle via Visat Circle, Chandkheda, Zundal Circle, Vaishnodevi Circle, Gota Circle, Thaltej and Iskcon Circle.
Special Night Services
To assist spectators returning home after the final, AMTS will operate six special night routes between 11:00 PM and 1:30 AM, including services towards key destinations such as Kalupur and other major city locations.
Public Advisory
AMTS has appealed to citizens and cricket enthusiasts to make maximum use of the public transport services during the IPL Final, helping reduce traffic congestion and ensuring a hassle-free travel experience around the stadium precinct.
With the IPL 2026 Final expected to draw a massive crowd, the special transportation arrangement is aimed at providing safe, efficient and affordable mobility for spectators across Ahmedabad.
